From Appreciation to Practice: Teaching with Indigenous Pedagogies and Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being In Mind
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore Indigenous resources and learn how to make Indigenous connections explicit in their teaching. Nadine will address important questions about appreciation and appropriation, including whether non-Indigenous teachers can teach practices such as beading or weaving. Participants will have ample time for discussion and will leave feeling confident integrating Indigenous perspectives into their classrooms.
